You allocate space on the function local stack, then hand out a pointer to
that memory and return from the function. No the function local stack is
undefined and the pointers are dangling. I think the heap should be used for

Try running with native commctrl to see if the corruption comes from our
commctrl implementation. Then run with --debugmsg +relay,+heap. Wine will
check on every heap manipulation to see if the heap is still okay. Then
look what corrupted the heap.

Wcmd should be found somehow magically, either in ../wine/programs or by the
COMSPEC variable.
Where does the wine install process put WCMD? As I always run wine in my
build tree, I can't check...

files needs still to be applied.
Is "wine cygwin.bat --debugmsg +process" really something valid? "w
a plug-in crash the vst-server.
Did you get this error with a recent wine version? I hadn't had this errors
for some time now.
