There was a Linux distro called Sentinix that has since become unmaintained. It was a canned distro with Nagios, Snort, Cacti, MRTG all loaded up and ready to go. If you're looking for something quick and easy it might be worth a shot, although the packages are likely quite old by now. Patrick
