database is the same on any platform and MySQL runs well on OSX.

that currently is on Sun Enterprise hardware. We are looking at the implications of scaling back that hardware... The application uploads small images into an Oracle database but looking at the numbers only does 200 transactions a day (8 hours) maximum...
