Hi Rainer,
However I just did exactly this 10 minutes ago. Removed OpenOffice,
FireFox and some other programs manually via the control panel. Then
invoked WPKG service again and all the programs got re-installed.
I followed this discussion carefully and it remembered me of a problem

Hi,
You wrote that after removing Firefox, rebooting and then manually
executing WPKG it did not re-install it. This is exactly the situation I
testet many many times and it works perfectly.
I've noticed WPKG not installing the application again after it has been
uninstalled by a user

Could you post an export of the WPKG-client settings (XML export)?

Hi Tomasz,
Filemon and Regmon are your friends, then.
Check where the program wants to write files/registry, and make those
writeable by all. Involves 5-30 minutes of work, works for 99% of
admin-only software, and is far better than granting admin rights to all
users.
Full ACK. I forgot
Here is the log file you requested. By the way, the documentation on the flags

I'm a new user of wpkg, just trying to figure it out at the moment,
basically just evaluating it right now. So far it looks like it will do
what I need, and that it will be great once I get the profiles and
packages set up. I was wondering if there was a way to install the

I was going to wait, and clean up this script, but I don't think I will

This script needs to be copied to the root of the wpkg share, and it
evaluates the following locations:

profiles/*.xml

There is always too less time - or too many ideas...

Hi,
but hey, I think I see the problem. Firefox recently changed the silent flags

Good Evening Everyone,
Has any here ever used WPKG with Powershell. To be more clear, has
anyone ever used WPKG to execute a powershell script which is located on a

Hi,
Wow, impressive feature list. Looks like it could be some kind of replacement
for the WPKG web GUI.
Well, for me it already is. I've also got a package editor, xml import/export
