Would it be good/better if the next hop choice was random order amongst your
bands instead of just a continuously random band?
This way you'd be guaranteed to visit each band in an N-transmit * N-bands
period instead of Las Vegas odds where you can get bad runs and never touch
a band for quite a
Thanks, Joe!
No crash with the window open.

Hi Bill
I built r5602 yesterday and tried this morning.
Tested on my Vista machine and Halt now behaves fine. It also cancels Echo
mode transmissions, which it did not do before.
Only observation is that the TX Enable disarmed message does not change
when TX Enable is in the red state.

Hi All
While testing r5602 in Echo mode, I found that 'Clear Average' reliably
crashes the program. Same behaviour in JT4.
Recipe is start the program in JT4 or Echo and press Clear Average. Have
not tried other modes.
No such problem with r5586.

You can adjust the left edge of the waterfall in the WSPR instance That's
the Start XXX Hz entry. Just set it to 700 Hz. Then you can adjust the
Bins/Pixel to only see the WSPR band too.

Hi All
Pleased to report all good with r5604 here. Made one JT4 QSO and tested out

Thanks!

Hi,
Is there any way two instances of WSJTX can share the same audio on 30

I run a JT65/9 monitor - it sits on 10.138 MHz, the WSRP region is 700 Hz above

Hi Bill
Thanks for the explanation.
I get the red background very occasionally. One recipe that works for me
(with r5586) is to press Halt TX during a TX period. At t=50s dial
frequency background goes from black to red. The displayed frequency is the
same. Communication with the rig is not

After manually setting all bands VFO A/B to ANT 2,
and turning off Split in WSJT-X, all is well with the FT-950.
Normal ops on WSJT and WSPR modes with r5604.
