I installed and ran ver 2.1.0 32 bit. Like ver 2.1.0 64 bit, it runs the frequency test on startup. Ver 2.0.1 shows no evidence in my controller log of ever running this test. My tentative conclusion is that a test which did not run in ver 2.0.1 now runs in ver 2.1.0 and that test sometimes

Well said and to the point. Perhaps the most important thing to understand is that this is an experimental and adjustment time for FT4 that will (and needs to) fade away. It's use after the current fascination with it subsides, needs to be reserved for contests only. Its only advantage is speed.

Hi Bill, just take the default installer options (except note you are not obliged to contribute financially to the OpenSSL for Windows project). The option to install into the system directory is the key one. The OpenSSL v1.1.0 library names are different from the v1.0.2 ones so there is no

Hi developers, it seems that whenever "Decode" is set to "Normal" or "Deep", then "A Priori" decode is enabled as well. IIRC there used to be a separate option for AP. Now, when WSJT-X detects a signal with AP, the display has some extra spaces before the AP indicator and country name, like
