Seems foolish to build a whole SSB rig to convert the audio signal from WSJT to
RF when at low frequencies some direct synthesis should be possible. Or am I
dreaming?

It seems the reason a user guide search for "Escape" or "Esc" found no useful
information is that the keyboard short cuts are in a screen capture image.
I did look at a few links on Esc in Qt but heeded the advice to stay clear of

There's no practical difference between the 450 and 450D
The 450D is recognized to be the same as the 450.
I'll contact you off-line about debugging the problem.
