The DXpedition announces what frequency they will be on. There’s no set
frequency, as long as it isn’t on the normal FT8 frequencies
Claude,
I recommend that you use the same frequency plan as the upcoming Kosovo
FT8 DXpedition, Z66X. The team followed the recent Baker Island
frequency plan with the exception of the change to the 6 meter frequency
to 50.323 MHz (which was based upon our recommendation). The one concern

Hi All,
What are, at the present time, the recommended operation frequencies for
the FT8 DXpedition mode ?
Best wishes,

This explains why I never saw any responses. Since I was fighting other
gremlins, I didn’t wait long enough to get a response after the initial one. I
It appears that when the fox gets busy, its response can be greatly delayed,
which leads to wasted extra calls from the hounds trying for a roger from the
fox.
As others mentioned, perhaps the fox should give rogers higher priority than
signal reports to newer hounds.
(Also, maybe the hounds
Do you guys want reports of odd things seen during the DXPedition test today on

Hi Joe and Per-Tore,
The higher portions of FT8 subbands may be called pile-up, as usual when we
call a rare DX on the HF bands.
I'm grateful for all your endeavours Joe and the team!
