that won't tell you anything as in both cases Hamlib is statically linked.

the documentation is correct. For v2.2.0 RC1 & RC2 we use Qt v5.14, but
proved to be premature and a couple of issues forced us to revert to
using Qt v5.12. That has allowed macOS 10.12 back in as a supported
platform, for now.
