You can use the track map from the website as a base map, all you need to do is tell Xastir where the corners of the image are in relation to the face of the Earth (the .geo file). You could also capture the satellite photo from Google Earth, and create a .geo file for that image. --- Ive just th

[Xastir] Map layers

Somewhere in all the docs was some suggestions on what map layer to use for radar and the base map (tiger). I can't seem to find that info. I tried 9 for the radar map, but the screen was just black with no tigermap and just the icons. Someone please enlighten me. By the way, my festival

Ive spent the last week looking at the different OS's and ways to use Xastir. But here is where im at today.. My goal is a graphical system that can track via GPS our safety vehicles at racetracks in CA. My test has to be up and working for pace car at our 25hr endurance race here: http://www.
