I like this, Cranz. This is what I'd like to use.
It's been awhile since I played with cron jobs. I'm more of a Linux
hack (not hacker... Just a hack, i.e., an amateur, newbie or entry level

I made my 1st APRS transmission with an ancient HK232 last night. It
seemed to work!
But I'm confused about a menu item that sets up some operational aspect
of Xastir. There's setup window for what appeared to be timing of
