Hi James,
Perhaps you can relocate XCSoar to be installed on the SD card. I think
that requires that the device be rooted. Don't know if you can do that
with your device (warranty problems?) but I did it with my Dell Streak.

I wasn't aware that clip altitude is not existing on Android. It might
be due to the visibility setting that you have. If you set it to "All

You can do that, if you have the Android SDK. You can forward the
NMEA TCP port to your Windows box.

No problem for me, and ok with condor too.

No, it was an arbitrary choice for no special reason. Didn't know of
10110. Is 10110 defined as "NMEA provider" or "NMEA recipient"?

Hi,
the new Android build allows you to configure the device "TCP port
4353", which listens for incoming TCP connections. Once a connection
has been established, XCSoar reads NMEA data.
This can be used to attach XCSoar to a flight simulator running on
your PC (e.g. Condor) via WiFi or USB. We
That is great.
It's quite surprising that it hasn't been done before, but finally it
comes :-).
It shouldn't be too difficult to implement the connection to IOIO UART
in XCsoar, right?
Maybe we should order some test IOIO's for the developers... :-)

When I start/stop the logger manually the log file

The feature I would like to see working the most is the logger. I ha
