So you put the cd in the cdrom and boot from it. Then you do all the
configuration.. The beginner/novice mode and mount/create/choose boot
system. Right? Then you choose to install from CD or FTP/HTTP etc..

In your /etc/X11/XF86Config file, replace Driver "vesa" with Driver "nv".

The GeForce4 MX is supported in the "nv" driver that comes with
XFree86 4.3 and newer. If your XFree86 version is older than 4.3,
the "nv" driver that comes with XFree86 is not expected to work,
though you may get NVIDIA's binary drivers (available from NVIDIA's
web page) to work.
I think you want to be using Driver "sis" rather than Driver "vga".

I have been trying to install Redhat Linux 7.3 to my comp, but monitor is not found on
