I installed 1.6 last night, and I still get the same problem, all mail gets
sent to the post master, any other suggestions?

I have a little problem, when an email is received to more than 1 receipient
in my domain
eg. 1 email sent to : [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED];
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
obviously 3 emails are received by xmail, and the Masquerade looks at all 3
names in the TO: / CC: field, and sends a copy to

to [EMAIL PROTECTED], just add an alias

I have XMAIL 1.6 on NT 2000 and all messages from other POSTFIX email
servers are fuc..ed (see attach) : after the tag from Xmail is an enter and
word UIT , if I delete this the message is all OK !
Does somebody know a fix ??

does xmail lookup the file everytime a mail comes in or is that cached? but
should not matter because i used ctrl.
in doc it looks like xmail searches for a
..blah.com.tab
but that is wrong as you wrote.

oh yes it is, i just tested it if blah.com does NOT exist as real-domain.
maybe you wonder why i want to use both custdomains and realdomains:
We are switching our email server to another subnet. and because
I resolved so:
BEFORE, I had NOTHING in smtprelay.tab and got correct relay for local
users and "530 bad sequence command" for the emails sent from sites (with
"mail from" a local user address).
NOW, I have the IP class of the subnet used by the websites on tbat server.
All goes OK, I get a cor

and a quick solution? is it easy to change code that xmail first looks up
custdomains and then realdomain? if not, just say NO - i won't nerv you any

If all you're doing is changing a server's IP address, I would do
the following:
o Have a backup MX server configured (that won't be moving during this
process).
o 2 days before the migration, lower the TTL setting for the domains that
are moving in the DNS records. Appropriate value would be 6

Oh, well then it must be connecting to the smtp port just like an
external computer. So your choice of options to send e-mail to an
external domain are to authenticate or have IP in smtprelay.tab, doesn't
matter that it's coming from a local e-mail address.

Yes i know. I think a filter could solve that..? Something like watching if
one user gets 50? mail per minut investigating the mailsource and put it
under spam
If there was a ctrlaccounts.tab stored in each of the domains/
directories xmail could check if the account is listed there, if so it
would be granted access to that domain. If not, then it would check the
ctrlaccounts.tab in the MailRoot and if it listed then they would have
access to all domains
