you do nothing wrong. AFAIK this bug should be solved in the 2007-115

You can get your hdds being recognized by adding the following options
to the boot commandl
iso versions are 113 and 114, and the latest beta.
rpm -q kdmctrl
kdmctrl-0.3-28._yoper_3.0_rocketfuel_
rpm -q xorg-fonts
xorg-fonts-7.2-14._yoper_3.0_rocketfuel_
I solved the problem by smart reinstall kde.

pretty confident to fix most of the issues if only I had access to
