What they'll see is a possibly very useful technology to advance the cause of e-commerce transactions. What observers won't see is a revolution, because for all its promise, ebXML is likely to emerge as just one more in a long line of XML variants. "Psychic foresees sunnier economic times" The experts have no idea when the dot-com gloom and doom will end. Luckily, there is Catherine Katen, psychic reader and healer. Katen pins the troubles on President Bush. "There is a feeling that his focus is more toward old business, rather than new business," she said. All of which has consumers and investors "spooked," Katen said. Spooked is bad, very bad. Bad psychic energy equals a bad economy. But she remains an optimist and predicts the Nasdaq will hit 5,000 again and venture capital will start to flow anew. As for the California energy crunch, she said, "That situation needs a lot of healing work."
