There is a method for removing the BIOS passwords from this particular unit. However, due to security reasons, IBM asks us not to publish the information. It will have to be brought to an authorized IBM service centre technician (such as me), along with a proof of purchase. The passwords are implemented as an anti-theft device, and publishing information on how to clear them would comprimise their effectiveness. Jay Stapleton.
