Have you thought about visiting <http://www.xteq.com/products/xset/> as this
tweaking composite will allow you to unhook or re-hook the function without
deleting anything from the Registry without it being able to be put back in
place should you so desire at a later date?

It support W2K and is freeware. BTW, it is considered THE tweaking tool for
Window gazers. :-)

Two quotable quotes:
By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which
is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third, by
experience, which is the bitterest.
-Confucius, philosopher and teacher (c. 551-478 BC)

If I have any beliefs about immortality, it is that certain dogs
I have known will go to heaven, and very, very few persons.
-James Thurber, writer and cartoonist (1894-1961)
