For Outlook, tunnel through SSH.

For ftp, give it up; use the secure copy included with SSH.

Set your outlook to go through localhost; setup the SSH program to
allow tunnelling on ports 25 & 110.

You will need to have your admin *or yourself* set the firewall to
allow ports 25 & 110 for the email (which is probably already set)
and also port 22, which is the port for ssh.
