My 2 cents is that you should inform the guy who is holding the purse
strings that he's going to regret not purchasing a real security solution
(and he will- sooner or later, he will). Freeware is great, but you get what
you pay for in a production environment.

Anyway, if you want the low-down on security for Windows systems, get a copy
of the book "Securing Windows NT/2000 Servers for the Internet" from
O'Reilly. (www.oreilly.com). Read it and apply the knowledge therein. ;)
