Marin, NAV uses port 8080 for administration. This is where you set up notification, liveupdate, etc. Go to it with your web browser and check it out. Hopefully you've got a password on it at the very least. I don't think you're going to want to shut this down as it is the only way to administer NAV for Exchange.
You could also block port 8080 going to your mail machines at the firewall. -----Original Message----- From: Martin Smith [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, February 11, 2002 6:03 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Norton Antivirus for Exchange (Port 8080) We are currently running 2.5 norton antivirus for Exchange. Nessus reports that port 8080 is open and might be possible to make this web server execute. Now, can I close off this port? Has anyone else seen this??? Thanks for your help...
