Subject: iptables upgrade

| Hi gurus
| I have a peculiar problem.
| I want to upgrade my non-working iptables to the latest version from
| rpmfind.net i downloaded did a checl of he file (rpm --check) it is fine
now
| it is complaining that it is unable to unlink or rename / delete the
| iptables file in /sbin
| /sbin/iptables is having root root ownership. permission denied.
| now how do i upgrade iptables
| chkconfig --list iptables shows as iptables off in all
| still if i type iptables at command prompt im getting the prompt for help
| like iptables -h etc. etc.
| is this because iptable sis still running or what may be the reason.
