There is a program called Active Ports. It tells what ports are
currently open and what application or user is tied to that particular
port. It will also give you the ability to shut that port down as well.

Subject: Finding the app that owns listening port

I'm looking for Windows equivalent of UNIX lsof - the
utility that would let me know who is bound to the
particular listening port on my Windows machine.

Basically, when I run "netstat -a" and see the list of
ports that my host is listening to, I'd liek to find
who "owns" those ports.

Thanks!

Miroslav
