You have pointed him to a Windows 2000 equivalent of *netstat*. :-(
The most appropriate solution - inasmuch as it offers the additional firewall
protection -
is to go to <http://www.kerio.com> and get the latest version of what used to be
Tiny's
Personal Firewall (free for home users).
You'll see what owns what. :-)
