No such thing as "more secure". Different security approaches - yes.
Elimination of basic security hazards in the default install (such as
not running a service as root/Administrator) - yes, but all in all the
least thing to be assumed about anything is that it is "more" or
"less" secure. Security is binary and "100%" are never reached, so the
question is, how hard can it be made for an attacker to exploit the
given insecurities.
