Greetings Steve,

I agree with what you have said BUT since I have worked with load balancing
in W2K, I do really find it very easy.

>From what I know, load balancing is very easy to setup on Windows 2000
Server. It is part of the networking component. All it takes is enabling it
(without a reboot), configuring the virtual IP, host IP and some load
balancing options, and you are done. Load Balancing could be used for a 2 or
more NIC on a server or it could also be multiple servers.

If I may ask, what would take to configure load balancing in *nix?

Cheers
Gill

Easier for you maybe, but I'll wager that many *nix sysadmins would
disagree with you.
