So if I read this correctly, the issue is primarily in how VirtualBox 
implemented seamless windowing. I haven't tried it, but do the various 
remote/RDP-type clients on Solaris (like Citrix, /Sun Ray Connector for 
Windows, SGD) that have similar "seamless" features follow the same design 
pattern? Obviously, not the same as VirtualBox ...
