This wouldn't surprise me. I have heard from a few sources that a Car
Salesman will give an Asian buyer a lower initial price on a new car than a
White buyer. They know that when buying a car that the White buyer will
haggle with prices and hang around. When involved with an Asian buyer, if
the price is not low enough at the start, they will walk out and not return.
That is the way I started shopping with the PT. Currently I have a PT on
order for MSRP. No one would go closer to Invoice because of the Market, so
far. If someone offers to get the one I want below MSRP, I will cancel my
order tomorrow.
It is a good way to shop if you commute or drive over a large area on a daily
basis. I love the internet in this game of shopping. Ooops, sorry. Rambled
on farther than expected.
