I am running a pioneer deck right now that has one set of RCA jacks.  My 
problem is that I am having to bridge a 4-channel amp, so I have to use two 
sets of RCA's.  This causes me to use a y adapter.  Now I am not absolutely 
positive, but I am fairly certain that using just a Y-adapter will cause 
poorer sound.  At lease from my exp. anyway.  However, I am running 2 15's as 
well so that could be why the sound difference is noticeable to me.
