The basic approach of making RMI / EJB calls works fine from within a Mailet to remote server objects. Double check the classpath and the types you are narrowing from and to.
Okay, you were right. It was an EJB Failure - I messed up the packaging of the .sar. The unmarshalling failure was because I passed different versions of the (Value)Objects between the ApplicationsServer and James.
