The basic approach of making RMI / EJB calls works fine from within a
Mailet to remote server objects. Double check the classpath and the
types you are narrowing from and to.

Okay, you were right. It was an EJB Failure - I messed up the packaging of the .sar. The unmarshalling failure was because I passed different versions of the (Value)Objects between the ApplicationsServer and James.

I have to cancel my previous mail. It's a james bug on Windows XP.

When narrowing RMI Objects from a mailet, James throws an UnmarshallingException. This only happens if James is situated in a directory containing an empty space.

The unmarshalling exception doesn't happen when james is located p.i. in "C:\james-3.2.1"

unmarshalling exception happens when james is locaten p.i. in
"C:\james 3.2.1"

I try to send this bug to bugzilla if there is a bugzilla list available

Georg
