I don't remember if the "wrapper -i ...." command does start the service after 
installing it in the windows registry (I don't think so), but as you said, why dont't 
you try starting it with "net start xxx", where "xxx" is whatever is written in the 
"wrapper.ntservice.name=xxx" parameter in the "JAMES_HOME\conf\wrapper.conf" file? Or 
with the "services" windows administration tool?
