> mind you, none of you have given a specific reason

The reason I am not so interested in the Zachman model is that is not
a framework I need for the conversations I need to have with my
customers.

I do need to have organizational, process, value, and technical
conversations with them, but the lack of a comprehensive Zachman view
is not the immediate problem. There are people here who've used
Zachman, but I am not familiar with the results or if it is ongoing. I
have found other vehicles to be more direct, simple, and accepted.

Zachman is good to be aware of. We had Zachman talk with us several
years ago and it was pleasant, but I just did not find something that
would immediately help me. I found him to be a smart, experienced
person, with common sense in personal conversation. The framework is
just not something that added enough to that personal communication.

As for my own conversations, I am interested in avoiding "SOA" with
many of them on the business side. On the technical side, we cannot
because it is such a buzz we need to make some technical sense of it.
