I agree with the intent of this position, but "anathema" is going
I agree with the intent of this position, but "*too* far.

I wrote "something like JMS" because what we are seeing now from
vendors and that new AMQP thing, as well as pub/sub and Atom support
in XMPP, etc. is a move toward JMS-like behavior in a more universal
and open way.

Meanwhile, since there is a lot of Java in the enterprise, JMS
(potentially along with custom gateway mechanisms) can be a legitimate
component of a significant number of actual SOA implementations.
