Consider a "full service" Hospital. It can be regarded as providing the 
following "business services":

    * Accommodation
    * Nursing care
    * Medical Specialist care (consultants)
    * Pathology
    * Catering
    * Operating Theatre

These are business services, in the sense that they could be (and often 
are) outsourced to different service providers.

There is, I think, a significant semantic gap between these "business 
services" and service in the SOA sense. How is this gap bridged?
