I use TextPad at www.textpad.com, it's not free, but it is cheap. The
nice thing about textpad is that you can program keystrokes to run your
javac compiler, and/or you bc32 compiler, etc all right from TextPad.
Compile time errors and all (not that I have ever needed it ;). It even
has a marginaly useful HTML library feature for tags and stuff.
