I'd have to agree with you there Jere; I've been using Textpad for 3 years now
and it beats any IDE I've ever tried by far for sheer ease of programming. So
quick and flexible, with great search/replace functionality and loads more. I
particularly appreciate dynamic reloading of files and the fact that it doesn't
put a lock on files, so e.g. logs are updated in the background as they grow.

The only thing extra I'd like in it would be the possibility of creating jump
tags in files like are produced in compiler output.

Highly recommended.
