You misanderstood the word freeware. He wasn't talking about the difference
between the free version of JRun for testing and the paid-for version. He's
talking about difference between JServ (which is developed in not-for-profit way
and always free) and JRun (which is commercially developed software, ie. for
profit).
I do agree that it's a drawback that JServ only works with Apache right now. The
other problem is the aversion managers have to software that's developed without
the help of big bucks. They seem to think it's just flakey and no good. I don't
agree but that's the corporate mindset.
