A few days ago I had some time and, using my old Mac, I downloaded Plone and
tried installing again. Though the installer did not destroy any data, it
would not finish installing. Within 15 minutes it gave me an popup telling
me there was an error. I clicked the OK button and the installer continued.
I waited over an hour and a half as the installer continued to work. I
finally killed the installer. Again I looked at logs but there were no
errors reported.

The gpg signature is a different story. IFAIK Apple's built in GUI tools
don't have that capability. I am not very adept at the command line. If
someone could point me in the right direction in that regard, I'll see what
I can do.
