Hi, Actually, there is such compilation flag for KDE too. It is also disabled by default. The video part have not been tested for a while, so it is most probably broken right now. The variable is called ENABLE_VIDEO. But it is experimental and isn't officially supported for 1.2.1. You have to call cmake manually to turn this on (see the wiki page). The video codec list and video options will probably show up and work, but the video feature itself have changed since it was implemented in the KDE client.

I had originally followed the instructions that came in the INSTALL files. The only material difference I saw was that there were some compiler flags mentioned for pj and kde. I cleaned my previous compilation and then followed the document you suggested. I still do not see any video codecs. I did see some problems in the procedures shown. For pj you need to cd to pjproject-2.0.1 not pjproject. Also that folder does not have a configure script but it has a pre-built Makefile. For kde Cmake is not run manually. It is run by config.sh. Another thing I noticed is that the instructions for gnome had an --enable- video option. There was no equivalent option for kde. I doubt that it would make much difference since no video codecs are built. In case you are wondering, I did --enable-video for the daemon. One additional point, when configuring for the daemon I used -- libdir=/usr/lib64 which is what Fedora uses. _______________________________________________ SFLphone mailing list [email protected] http://lists.savoirfairelinux.net/mailman/listinfo/sflphone _______________________________________________ SFLphone mailing list [email protected] http://lists.savoirfairelinux.net/mailman/listinfo/sflphone
