libtool aside, the option is clearly wrong.  See

http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=98445&#98445 - 
which implies that Frank "fixed" it but not really; simply removing 
that one argument is not really enough.  And every time I look at this 
file I see something else broken - like /opt/SUNWspro.40/...
