SUNWgnu-automake-110 is an "Uncommitted" interface, so you'd need to follow the proper process if you want to remove it. Also, you would need to test and be fairly confident that things that build with 1.10 still build with 1.11 before removing 1.10. > 3) Should we provide a plain automake command linked to one of the > versioned commands, probably the latest? That was the original plan when 1.9 and 1.10 were integrated, but there were objections to this during ARC, so it was decided to just go without the symlinks. See PSARC/2007/293 for details.
