I should note that I don't really care that much, but I would like to know
whether /usr/share or /usr/lib is preferred on Solaris, and to then attempt
to enforce consistency.

Norm, you've talked with the i18n folks most recently, I think.  Who dyou
think is the right person to talk to?  Fuyuki?
