  Building the consolidation--or learning how the consolidation is
  constructed so that developers might contribute to it.  We're actually
  getting ready for a move to Mercurial.

  All of SFW is in Developer Edition.   In any case, SFW does not
  contain openldap at present.  (Blastwave compiles openldap for Solaris
  8 - 10+.)

  Speaking theoretically, if there were packages, what releases would you
  expect them to work on?  At present, SFW attempts to build on latest
  build - 2, since its focus is delivery into what becomes Developer
  Edition.

  For LDAP technology investments, current and historical, it's probably
  best to ask on one of the naming project aliases, like Sparks:
