That's not a decision a packaging system can make.  It can't know what the
optimal binary is because it's not necessarily running on the system that
the library will be loaded on.  Never mind that the entire OS image may be
lifted off of one machine and plopped onto another at some point (p2v).
It's a decision that needs to be made at boot time, or at runtime.
