How are you attaching? Via the VNC viewer? Try attaching with a browser on
the same subnet and then we can put the speculation on the port numbers
behind us. I have been playing with VNC against a Linux host and have
attached via the viewer and a browser. Netscape with go with
'192.168.0.1:5801', but IE needed it this format 'http://192.168.0.1:5801'.

Lyle,
Thanks for the response.
The box I'm attempting to connect to is a WIndowsNT box, not Linux.
I *think* that means the session (display) is zero, not 1.
Either way, I can't seem to get it work. As a test, I enabled ports
5800,5801,5900, and 5901 and set all of them to go to the target machine.
Alas, no luck.
Any more ideas? Will this work through the UserSpecifiedServices or will
I have to add one of those strange IPAUTOFW (or whatever it is) commands?
Thanks again.
Dave
