I have the following problem. We have a fixed IP for our mailserver
which I want to protect using STN. The mailserver IP is a public IP so I
want to make that a local address because of security.
I installed STN on a PC with two NICs. First IP(public) 213.53.100.42
and second card with IP 192.168.0.1. STN works perfect and mail to the
outside works perfect. Only my incomming mail does not work. I checked
the "Inbound Services" specifing the internal IP but my ISP wants
213.53.100.42 which doen not exist.
Can anybody please tell me how this can be fixed. I'm thinking of NAT
here but I dont know how to use it.
Really thanks for even reading this :)
I hope someone has an answer.
cya,
Oscar
