Frustrating when you think it's fixed, then it breaks again.

There is a lot going on between all of the machines, and I'm guessing that you have a 
pretty unique setup.
Can you give some more info on your software and computers?

What version of Samba are you running?

What version of Sharity?

Is the NT machine NT 4?

When you say the Samba machine fails one day and not others, does it only fail with 
the VPN?
Or does it also sometimes fail with your local Mac?

Has the VPN ever worked normally?

Sorry for all the questions.
Maybe with what you already explained, Christian will know what to do.
