I was wondering if someone could explain to me what the Fast Clock is? Ive seen it used alot but dont see any reference to it in the manual. Im assuming its simply a way to overclock the shimmer cpu? Also if anyone knows the maximum sampling rate for the gyroscope that would be helpful as well. I couldnt find it in the spec sheet:
http://invensense.com/mems/gyro/idg500.html Also it seems like the shimmer gets 3 axis of gyro data but the chip says it only supports x/y angular acc. Does shimmer extrapolate the z values? Thanks guys, Nick
