I asked the boys at Dynacraft about this once...
why not a large.. say 300 cc or so driver head for Ladies and seniors at about
17 deg. many use their 3 and 5 woods off the tee.. but they don't get the
advantages of a larger head for forgiveness and perhaps a little more
distance... or even worse they use a 10-12 deg driver because of the large face
and get nowhere... Dynacraft told me there would not be much of a market for a
large driver in higher lofts... I disagree and believe there would be a
reasonable market for such a product... Bang has the mellow yellow at 14
deg... and a few yrs. back you would have been hard pressed to find a 12 deg.
driver.... maybe we may get there some day... Hey I can see a 320 cc
lofty driver finding it way in some of our bags...
Bud
Not likely, but it seems like a good idea, after all a lot of CO's go to 4*, and 6*, why stop at 12* Maybe a 196 gr. for 45" or less in a 65-72 gr. shaft, and a little lighter version for use in a longer shaft, any suggestions on gr. weight for this one you o lord of the extra long driver. David |
